Senator Drew MacEwen is a dedicated public servant with over 11 years of experience representing the 35th Legislative District
First elected in 2012, he spent a decade in the State House before transitioning to the Senate in 2023. MacEwen holds a pivotal role as the ranking Republican on the Senate Environment, Energy, and Technology Committee, where he takes on the big issues that affect us. He also serves on the Committees on Transportation, Business and Financial Services, and Labor and Commerce.
Senator MacEwen cares about our district and service is a part of who he is. Drew is the former president of the Shelton-Mason Chamber of Commerce – and his community involvement extends to organizations like the Rotary Club of Shelton, the Mason General Hospital Foundation, Kitsap Medical Society, Love INC., and St. David’s Parish in Shelton.
Throughout his life, Senator MacEwen has always sought to focus on what matters most. Love of country. Dedication to family. Service to community. Drew resides in Shelton with his wife Danelle and he’s a proud parent of two grown children, both of whom served in the Marines. He’s also a loving grandfather to four grandchildren.
