Senator Drew MacEwen is a dedicated public servant with over 11 years of experience representing the 35th Legislative District

First elected in 2012, he spent a decade in the State House before transitioning to the Senate in 2023. MacEwen holds a pivotal role as the Deputy Leader for Senate Republicans. He also serves on Senate Environment, Energy and Technology Committee, Rules Committee, Transportation Committee, and Labor and Commerce.

Before his political career, Senator MacEwen served for six years in the U.S. Navy, including five patrols with the Navy’s submarine force from Bangor-Naval Base Kitsap. Following his military career, Drew settled in Mason County, where he founded Falcon Financial, Inc. Today, Senator MacEwen also serves as the managing partner of Mountain Lakes Capital Management LLC and he’s a proud investor in local businesses, including 1889 Prime Steakhouse in Olympia. Drew knows our district’s economy. He understands dollars and cents. His business and military experience helped him get the job done for us in the state legislature – and they’ll help him make a big difference for our whole state.

Throughout his life, Senator MacEwen has always sought to focus on what matters most. Love of country. Dedication to family. Service to community. Drew resides in Shelton with his wife Danelle and he’s a proud parent of two grown children, both of whom served in the Marines. He’s also a loving grandfather to five grandchildren.
